New Jersey Realtors® Leadership Academy
Develop leadership skills, build your network, and apply for New Jersey Realtors® Leadership Academy Class of 2026.
Leadership development is essential to improve the association and move New Jersey Realtors® forward. Through this academy, New Jersey Realtors® will identify emerging Realtor® leaders in the state, encourage them to grow as leaders with motivational activities, and help them sharpen their leadership skills. Graduates will go on to help lead and exert a strong positive influence on the future of New Jersey Realtors® and the real estate profession in the Garden State. We encourage all aspiring local, state, and national Realtor® association leaders to apply.
Class of 2026 applications are due Dec. 15.
New Jersey Realtors® Leadership Academy is an eight-month-long program with five sessions. Up to 12 applicants will be selected. The accepted applicants will develop unmatched skills in leadership, communication, public speaking, teamwork, and more. A $250 deposit is required to apply and anyone not accepted will be reimbursed.
Tuition for the accepted applicants will be $1,000.
The 2026 Sessions
Session One: Leveraging Your Leadership Style
Feb. 9-10, 2026 – Tinton Falls

An introduction to the academy and an overview of the capstone team project participants will collaborate on during the program.
Session Two: Find Your Voice
March 23-24, 2026 – Cape May Court House
In Person
Highlight the ins and outs of the Realtor® organization and how local, state, and the national association work together.
Session Three: Building You
June 11, 2026
Virtual
Focus on personal growth and professional best practices to enhance your leadership journey.
Session Four: Leading in An Organization
Aug. 24-25, 2026 – Saddle Brook
In Person
Learn to engage in more thoughtful conversations and interact with members while in a leadership role.
Session Five: Grace in Leadership
Oct. 5-6, 2026 – Trenton
In-Person
In the final session, participants will refine their goals and culminate their learning journey by presenting their capstone projects.
2026 Leadership Academy Graduation
Dec. 8, 2026 – Atlantic City
In Person
The official graduation ceremony will be held at 2026 Realtors® Triple Play at New Jersey Realtors® Awards Session.
